Those tight sections, massive jumps. Down hill mountain bikers are as crazy/stupid as Isle of Man TT racers.

I’ve seen that one before. It’s so insane I had to watch again.

his heavy breathing is a reminder to me how freaking exhausting it is to ride downhill sometimes. It sounds easier than it is, but if the trail is technical, it can be worse than any climb.

A couple of guys I know do this. I’m surprised none of them have died yet.

i remember my mountain biking days. granted, I was more of a cross country guy then a downhiller, but I got to enjoy the gravity power a few times. loads of fun.

“none of them have died yet.” they have probably came very close to death lots.

I know one of them almost severed their spine and barely escaped being paralyzed.

Red Bull Hardline is pretty much the IOM race of downhill mountain biking. Except that it is invite only and doesn’t count towards anything except pride (and prize money I assume). The World Cup downhill courses are pretty nuts, but nothing even close to this. Basically every feature on the Hardline course is as big as the biggest feature on the World Cup courses.
